- How much does it cost to get matched with a pro?
- Free for homeowners. We charge pros a small commission only when a job actually closes (a CPA model). We do not sell shared leads, we do not take subscription fees for higher ranking, and we do not mix sponsored slots into organic rankings.
- Why do you recommend only 1–2 pros instead of 10?
- Because a homeowner with a green pool does not need 10 phone calls. Our AI matches your specific issue, city, and urgency to the top 1–2 pros from our editorial Top 10 list, then hands you their direct phone and website. We step out of the middle.
- Are the pool pros on HiredLocalPros verified?
- Yes. Before a pro earns a Verified badge we check active CSLB C-53 license (or equivalent), active general liability insurance, a working business phone, and a live business website. Pros missing any item show a lower confidence tier on their profile, in the open.

- Yelp sells paid ad placement above organic results. Angi and Thumbtack sell your contact information to 3–5 pros at once the moment you fill a form.
